Help me fix my ipod 2nd gen 3.1.3 jb ?

Okay , well this has been going on for a while , i jb my ipod on 3.1.3 with spirit. and now it freezes up. I put it into dfu mode and try to restore and i get error 1601 . i also somtimes hold the power and middle on and i get the apple logo and then the screen turns white . any help ?
