Whats your opinion on my living situation?

I'm 25 years old and living with my boyfriend of 30. Our relationship is 5 years now and we've agreed to have an old style relationship where the woman is a homemaker and the man works and pays bills. It's kind of like the 50s. We both are happy with this. I do the household chores and he does the outside chores. Now, I've been old that I'm mooching off him because I don't have a job. And I've been told that it doesn't count because we're not married. And that we're not a family because we don't have children. That it's just a mess of a relationship even though it works good for us. I'm not saying I'm thinking of changing. I just want your opinion on the subject. What do you think of our living situation?
