Travel to hospital and OB/gyn when pregnant?

The problem would be when you go into labor. When I went into labor, the hospital sent me home twice before they would admit me. That would have been incredibly inconvienent if I lived far away. And then, after the second time they sent me home, I ended up back at the hospital an hour later because my water finally broke. My son was born four hours later. If I lived far away, I might not have made it in time for the epidural. So you can risk it, having a great doctor makes all the difference when having a baby. But you could have problems when you go into labor. Congrats!! Good Luck!!
