Since when did liberals start defending religious rights?

I have noticed that the only time liberals defend the Constitution is when it comes to terrorists, muslims, criminals, child molesters and illegal immigrants I guess they can't wrap their heads around the fact that illegals have no Constitutional rights, because they are not citizens and have no rights under our Constitution other than the fact that WE have the LEGAL right to deport their CRIMINAL es. But you will NEVER hear a liberal defend the Constitutional rights of a christian, at least I never have.
