I don't understand the end of The Host by Stephenie Meyer?

In chapter 59, it doesn't get explained what Wanda is. Did she take the Seeker's body? She woke up from being taken by Melanie, Jamie, and Jared on their raid to get her. But why did she wake up being gold, child-like and blue... I don't understand the ending of what she is "liveing" inside now. What species? Bear? Dolphin? Flower? Spider? Help please!!!
