Clic 1950s chair designer?

it was featured on the british version of the antiques roadshow quite recently, it was an expensive 1950s leather chair that a guest expert on the show was offered off the back of a truck whilst in New York. The owner of the chair offered him the chair for $50. The chair turned out to be worth thousands of pounds. however the expert could not buy the chair as he was flying back to england that day. Does anyone remember the chair, i remember him mentioning that the chair could be completely taken apart?
