Do I stand a chance w/my friend w/benefits?

We've been going out for seven months now & we see each other every two to four weeks. We live two hours apart. He pays for me sometimes, and we go out all of the time, so the situation isn't just , that's for sure. He has made mention that we're friends w/benefits a couple of times, but he hasn't been mean about it. I know I sound naive, but I really believe he hasn't dated anyone else, although I'm realistic enough to know he's trying to keep his options open. We're 12 years apart. I can't have kids but he wants them later in life. We text all of the time. He honestly seems to really like me. He always calls me endearing names & wants me to eventually meet his parents. I have met two of his friends once, but he introduced me as a friend. This was four months into our knowing each other. Do I stand a chance with my friend w/benefits? Thanks.
