How can I stop my xbox from overheating on EVERYTHING?

I have the exact some problem. I too have an inter-cooler. Mine kept overheating because I have it in a small enclosed space so therefore there is barely any room for the hot air to get out. I suggest playing in a room with good air conditioning so the hot air can ventilate out of the room.
