Information on the Art Institute, Columbia College and UIC in Chicago MFA art Programs.?

I will be visiting these schools in the spring but was interested in any information regarding the painting/ photography facilities. I have been finding the websites to be a bit hard to judge by. Any first hand discription of the Universities would be appriciated. I am looking to begin an MFA program in painting.
