What kind of car should I buy?

I have three kids but refuse to buy an SUV or minivan b/c of gas prices. I want a bigger sized car that has a roomy back seat. Does anyone know of a good one with a good engine as well. No I will not buy a chrysler sebring or anything with the same motor. They are big yes but their motors suck I know from experience.!
