Which profession, doctor or a lawyer?

I say follow your strengths. If you have to study your head off in high school to get A's in honors and even AP science courses (which is impressive) it gets considerably more difficult in college (I am a fourth year micro/molecular biology and biotechnology double major). In order to stand a reasonable chance of gaining acceptance into a medical school one must have at least a 3.4-3.5 gpa in addition to having a competitive MCAT score and background in health care (shadowing/volunteering). If you seek a challenge and have the drive to follow through you can do it; however you must ask yourself do you truly have a pion for the sciences or just an interest, and is it worth the sacrifices you'll have to make in your personal life and the stress the arduous work will bring. You must also take into account what kind of doctor you would like to be. Primary care physicians have it hard and seemingly spend more time dealing with insurance companies and paperwork than actual patients. a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/email/idUSTRE4AH1CE20081118" rel="nofollow"http://www.reuters.com/article/email/idU…/a I implore you to look into each career for yourself before you make such a decision. Many doctors are unhappy in their profession because its not what they expected. Becoming a doctor is a great career choice but its just not fore everyone. Volunteer for or shadow both careers to help make your decision. I'm afraid that I can't offer much advice about the other side, as I do not know much about lawyers, I do hope however that I helped.
