Why do people love bob marley i think he sucks?

I dont get why he has such a big following reggae music in general does not sound good to me it has a tropical theme that i donot like. Sounds like music i would only like if i was on an island drinking a pina colada. But yes why do you guys like him what do you like about him? I just think he sucks and please dont come here attacking my taste and music and dont ume either i listen to whats on the radio today because thats bad. I tend to like clic rock and clic rap.
